Medical Doctor

Food For The Poor is seeking to employ a qualified individual to fill the position of Medical Doctor.

Core Functions: This is a part-time position at a Non-Governmental clinic responsible for the provision of primary health care.

Part-Time: Tuesday & Thursday 8:00am - 12 noon

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent Degree
• Registration with Medical Council of Jamaica
• A minimum of three (3) years practicing experience

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients in a community / medical clinic setting.
• Provide advice to patients concerning diet, hygiene and methods for prevention of disease.

Competencies

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong and effective leadership skills
